Fix your golfing with the Golf Fix

There are so many resources out in the media now but I have been watching this show pretty regularly. The Golf Fix is on the Golf Channel on Monday evenings. In PST it is on 8pm and shows repeatedly throughout the night. The host of the show is named Michael Breed and he has all kinds of attributes to his name. Star clients, top 50 instructors, etc. he is quite impressive and VERY knowledgeable. What I like about him is that he is so strong in what he wants to show or instruct you on that he uses household and readily available items to help you. An example of this is in one episode he used a children’s inflatable “swimfloaty dino” to show the proper spacing and where the inside of your elbows should be. He uses shoe boxes quite frequently to indicate positioning and as indicators as well. Works pretty well and the costs are minimal compared to some golf specialty tools. He moves quite fast so you may want to tape or DVR the episodes since he just churns through the emails and questions he receives. So be ready!

If you have a particular question yourself the show accepts emails, snail mail (post), facebook, video submissions and sometimes even phone calls. It is normally pretty entertaining with just a few exceptions. Now, I have never been a sporty kinda guy with coaches and all so his style maybe right on par (pun intended). Michael is very energetic, NOT at all aggressive, and seems overall quite friendly but his style rubs some the wrong way. My wife refuses to watch the show because she says that he seems that he is just yelling all the time. I can see her point but it’s not an aggressive yelling, its much more enthusiasm in my view. The show also seems quite disorganized at times and almost is like a novice production. Cameramen, production helpers and I assume other crew members are referenced all the time and you see them regularly bring props to the stage for the show. Overall, the show has a wealth of information and I would recommend it. You can check the show out at http://www.thegolfchannel.com/the-golf-fix/ and see what you think. The videos are pretty nice and right to the point. They can be found here. http://www.thegolfchannel.com/the-golf-fix/videos/

I am simply beside myself to get a comment at all, let alone from Michael Breed!! This is the most amazing thing that has happened on this site since inception and I think it is just so cool.
