Practice with a Purpose

I may be in the minority here, but I love to practice. When I can’t play a round of golf, I head to my local driving range with a purpose in mind. I imagine the golf course at the range.

After I have gone through my warm-up routine, I place myself at the imaginary tee box of past nightmare holes. These are holes that I’ve stopped counting strokes, and placed a big fat “X” as my score. But I always remember what got me into trouble and try to recreate the hole at the range.
